GET TO KNOW THE TEAM

  • Trent graduated from Chapman University in 2008 with a BS in Accounting. Trent thought he would graduate and run far away from the office of his father. However, the closer he got to graduating, the more he realized that there is an intense need for personalized financial guidance that preparing tax statements just couldn’t fulfill. He decided to pursue the business and now enjoys working alongside Jeff.

    What does Trent do in his spare time? Well, he loves being an actively involved husband and father of course! He also enjoys playing golf, woodworking, and coaching soccer.

  • Jeff graduated from Chapman College (now University) in 1968 when he started in the business. Along the way, he attained a CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) degree. His experience has not diminished his passion for guidance and he is still usually the 1st one in the office in the morning (It’s pretty tough to beat 5:30am). Jeff is often asked when he will retire and his answer is always the same - when he finds something to do with his time that he loves as much as he loves serving his clients.

    What does Jeff do in his spare time? He goes bicycle riding, is an adventuring Papa to all of the grand kids, and gives golf lessons to family members who always have room for improvement (ie Trent).

  • Amanda graduated from University of California, Irvine emphasizing in Math, Art and Education (since the 3 of those go together so nicely). Born with a heart to teach, but maybe not in a classroom, Trent dragged her along to work one day. She found that she thoroughly enjoys working with clients and assisting wherever she can. She is the OCWC health and life insurance guru and keeps the two finance nerds in the office focused.

    What does Amanda do in her spare time? EVERYTHING. She loves crafting and building new projects, she is a close up magic enthusiast, she is the master coordinator of all the things, as if her plate wasn’t full enough already as a busy mom of two young girls.

  • Bethany is our Client Services Associate. She graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University in 2010 and spent the next handful of years living in the south and working in various customer service roles before returning to her California roots in 2017. She loves people and feels very fortunate to be working with such an amazing family - an honor as the only non Huston at OCWC.

    In her spare time, Bethany is a busy single mom of two young girls and the three of them can regularly be found off on an adventure with the Huston ladies. Sharing a love of local theme parks, the beach, and DIYs - Bethany and Amanda are always up to something crazy.

THE PROCESS

At first glance, solving a puzzle cube may seem impossible. The entire thing may be in disarray, making it difficult to know where to start. Solving one side may not be too challenging, but solving the next side requires preserving the progress made on the first.
